UK Player Secures £26 Million EuroMillions Top Prize
An individual British player has claimed the £26 million Euro Millions jackpot, lottery officials have confirmed.
The lucky combination selected on Friday evening were 06, 12, 18, 25 and 41, with the Star numbers 02 and 06.
This marks the third EuroMillions grand prize won in the UK so far this year out of 10 drawn up to now.
Earlier this year, an individual claimed eighty-three million pounds, subsequently a £65m Valentine's win. The two successful players decided to be anonymous.
Nevertheless, the lucky individual of Saturday's £10.6 million Lotto jackpot has yet to come forward.
An expert advisor advised ticket holders to spend some time to verify their entries and online notifications.
The lucky Lotto combination for last Saturday were: 06, 08, 12, 33, 49, 59 and the extra ball was 42.
"Our team is ready to give advice and offer access to professional advisors who can support successful players optimize the prize for themselves and those close to them," the adviser said.
The EuroMillions win will be verified against the game's terms and conditions, and when validated, the jackpot recipient will determine whether to reveal their identity.
Although turning them into a millionaire, Friday's prize of twenty-six million pounds does not put the winner among the top European lottery successful players.
A jackpot of above £183m would have been needed to secure a place in the top 10 list of largest wins.
The largest win secured by a British participant is £195m in the year 2022, as reported by EuroMillions.
Even though it is challenging to secure a jackpot, it is simpler than people believe to miss out on the winnings.
An individual lost a £1m win in the previous year after not claiming a EuroMillions win within the 180 day claim period, meaning the money was given to good causes supported by the lottery.
The largest EuroMillions prize to remain unclaimed in the UK was sixty-three point eight million pounds in 2012.
The European lottery is takes place every Tuesday and Friday across nine European countries.
